A businessman has been arrested for importing merchandise that included “People Power” Movement wear especially caps.
Mbaziira Vicent was arrested on Tuesday by Aviation police at Entebbe International Airport with clothes marked “Oppressed Majority” which he was bringing into the country.
When the security checked his bags, they found T-shirts and caps inscribed on “people power”, a movement started by Kyadondo East legislator, Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.
While meeting Jamaican reggae legend Buju Banton in the capital Kingston on Tuesday, Bobi Wine said he learnt from his idol that prison is the price for those in a freedom struggle.
“He reminded me that jail is part of the price those who fight for freedom must pay before things get better,” Bobi Wine wrote.
