Gagamel singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool has told Kampala Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago, to do work his office was created for and stop politicking.
“I think you need to put more time in Kampala Capital City Authority [KCCA] than politics with Forum for Democratic Change [FDC],” Bebe Cool pointed out Saturday while appearing on “The Capital Gang” political show organised by Capital FM.
“I want my mayor to fix roads,” Bebe told Lukwago who was present on the show.
He added: “For all the time I have known the mayor, he is either fighting with the president or someone else.”
Former KCCA executive director, Jennifer Musisi, confessed that a lot of time was wasted in her fights with Lukwago at city hall.
“However much we disagree with Musisi. I use civil means to address issues at KCCA,” Lukwago said in response to the accusations.
He said the problems at the authority did not stop after she left.
“The system had been disrupted but we are going to work better. For you to get a particular product, they are so many people who have to work together, not just me.”
On security, Lukwago advised President Museveni to stop gambling, noting that throughout the year, Ugandans have witnessed murders.
Senior presidential advisor Moses Byaruhanga who was appearing on the same show remarked:
“I stay in Buziga and our road is one of the worst. I only hear the Lord Mayor [Erias Lukwago] quarrelling with a woman [former KCCA executive director Jennifer Musisi] instead of telling us about roads.”
