Team No Sleep diva Sheebah Karungi has left Ugandans speaking in tongues after her magnetic show at Hotel Africana at the start of the weekend.

Sheebah decided to take her appearance a notch higher at the concert dubbed “Omwooyo”, when she showed up on stage “semi-naked” as revellers later claimed.

While some social media enthusiasts say it was the “magic show of the year”, others claim Sheebah who was “dressed to kill”, treated them to an erotic strip-tease show.

Bash Mutumba, a photographer, blogger, actor, and voiceover artist tweeted: “Someone should tell Sheebah that at this level of stardom she has reached, we can listen to all her music whether good or bad; without the need for her to undress.”

But Sheebah insisted: “My Gals Killed It   #OMWOOYO CONCERT SOLD OUT!! 30:11:18. SALUTE To Everyone That Attended  Thank You My Lovers  #OMWOOYO CONCERT SOLD OUT.”

She saluted her fans for showing up and continuing to love her music.

The show which kicked off at around 7pm was graced by musicians like Diamond Oscar, Kabako, Spice Diana and the one and only–Vinka.

Sheebah stepped onto the stage at 10:45pm clad in a silver-shinny jumpsuit.

She did her songs like “Ice Cream”, “Jordan”, “Nkwatako” before  driving the crowd wild with “Go down low”.

At about 11:15pm, she then performed Juliana Kanyomozi’s “Kibaluma” and Iryn Namubiru’s “Nkuweki”.

The audience loved it and loved her more. Her latest hit song “Omwooyo” closed the show.

Earlier, Sheebah had told The Observer in an interview that “no Ugandan man impresses her”, drawing negative criticism.

Born 29 years ago (1989), Sheebah joined The Obsessions when she was 15 years old. She had dropped out of school in Senior Two.

In 2007, she was made a replacement of Cleopatra [Koheirwe, who had just left the group].

Question: So, you are single…

Sheebah: I don’t see any man in this country who can impress me; let us give it a rest!
