An American national has been found dead at the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) better known as Entebbe Zoo.
James Lakin Crow, 21, was discovered Thursday hanging from the staircase rail leading up to the entrance of the hostel where he was staying.
Police said Crow, a resident of Texas in the US, used a belt to hang himself.
UWEC’s public relations manager, Isaac Mujaasi, told press that Crow had been training as an animal keeper.
He signed up for the course on September 10, 2018. His body has been taken to Mulago Hospital for post-mortem.
