The former Bubulo West Member of Parliament Tonny Nsubuga Kipoi has been brought to the army court in Makindye following several months in detention.
Kipoi Nsubuga last appeared before Court Martial following his days in detention early in April this year.
Kipoi was extradited from Botswana last month to face trial in Uganda for witchcraft human trafficking.
He was produced at the General Court Martial on Makindye and charged with security related offences.
He is charged alongside five UPDF officers who allegedly tried to overthrow the government.
They are; Sgt. Yunus Lemeriga, Cpl Rogers Mweru, Sgt Adams Mawa, Sgt Albino Okeng and Pte Dodola Ijosiga, all attached to the armoured brigade in Masaka.
He allegedly convened meetings to recruit soldiers intending to prejudice security of defence forces in areas of Kampala, Wakiso, Masaka, Jinja, Nakasongola and Ntoroko between 2012 and 2013.
Their bail was cancelled and remanded to Makindye military police cells.
