The president’s car has been stoned and its hind screen badly shattered.
According to the Senior Press Secretary, Don Wanyama, President Museveni’s car that was allegedly stoned by MP Bobi Wine’s supporters.
It was the same incident that allegedly sparked off teargas and live bullets from Police and Special Forces Command [SFC].
“President Kaguta Museveni car that was hit by opposition supporters this evening in Arua town,” Wanyama said.
He added: “The police will issue a statement on this incident shortly.”

In the ensuing gunfire, police shot and killed Kawuma Yasin, MP Bobi Wine’s driver.
Police and Special Forces Command soldiers then besieged the hotel that Bobi Wine was staying in.
Some reports had even suggested that Bobi Wine had been taken into custody by “what appears to be police.”
Police also arrested Mityana Municipality Legislator Francis Zaake Butebi.
Museveni is campaigning for NRM candidate Tiperu while Bobi Wine is campaigning for Kasiano Wadri.
