Sheema: FDC’s Virginia to end Museveni ‘politics of greed’

Forum for Democratic Change [FDC] party candidate for Sheema Municipality, Virginia Plan Mugyenyi, has asked voters to pick someone with a purpose to serve them.

Mugyenyi calls herself a candidate with a purpose who has a lot of work to do.

On Monday, many political leaders led by President Kizza Besigye and FDC President Patrict Oboi Amuriat went down to Sheema to give Virginia a hand of approval.

Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, MPs Munyagwa Mubarak, Mwijukye Francis, Roland Kaginda and Leader of Minority Winnie Kizza all tailored their messages to sensitise the people on the selfishness of NRM candidate Elioda Tumwesigye who craves to represent two constituencies.

According to Besigye aide, Ronald Muhinda, the Secretary for Mobilisation Ingrid Turinawe invited the people against aimlessly singing NRM No Change in the face of poverty, poor health services, poor roads, high school drop outs etc.

She was supported by former MPs Vincent Mujuni Kyamadidi and Odo Tayebwa, Mbarara FDC Chairman Stanley Katembeya and several leaders from Ankole and Kigezi.

Then the crown went Hon. Amanya Mushega who nailed it with his Runyankole parables.

On his part, Besigye asked the people to use their vision, energy, commitment and resolve to see that Virginia is voted for and her votes protected.

He said the win for Virginia further emboldens the struggle against Museveni’s dictatorship.

Virginia Mugyenyi

Virginia Plan Mugyenyi has so far held rallies, meetings in most of Sheema divisions and cells.

She says the response about change and good governance is really positive.

“We must embark on building the Uganda we all wish for. The politics of greed must cease immediately. VotePlan, Vote4FDC, Vote4Change.

Together we shall overcome!!”
