Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has been arrested in Kampala while protesting against the recently introduced social media and mobile money tax.
Bobi Wine was arrested alongside NBS TV journalist Raymond Mujuni and Kampala Central Division politician Fred Sentamu Nyanzi, better known as Chairman Nyanzi, among others.

Nyanzi, a brother to Bobi Wine was picked up by anti-riot police officers around the City Square.
The demonstrators led by Bobi Wine started marching from Mini Price only to be intercepted by Police and KCCA enforcement officers near the city square.
They included local musicians, media practitioners and rights activities who are asking government to scrap the Shs200 daily tax on social media and the 0.5% on mobile money transactions.
Parliament is sitting today to discuss the matter following several petitions to the Speaker Rebecca Kadaga.
