Security agents raid ex-Pearl Bureau principal accountant Yasaba’s home

Security agents have raided and searched the home of former Pearl Forex Bureau and money remittance services East Africa’s principal accountant, Yashaba H, for more suspected foreign funding to fund homos and rebels.

Yashaba and his former employer, the wealth celebrated business mogul, Sengooba Kityo Robert alias Raymond, ex-proprietor of the defunct Pearl Group of companies and others are still at large battling several court charges that include; treason, funding of rebels, transaction of illicit funds into the country, money laundering and receiving logistical support [war hardware] from their European friends abroad.

Yasaba was arrested at Entebbe airport in March this year while trying to flee the country following the closer of his boss, Sengooba’s forex bureau located in Bugolobi trading centre. The forex bureaus was closed in October, 2017.

Government accuses fugitive Sengooba and his maternal uncle, David Tinyefuza aka Sejusa of bankrolling rebels, transacting illegal transfer of illicit funds to fund rebels and transferring of [8 million in USD] to United Kingdom and Russia to buy logistics.

Money found in Yasaba’s home

A source from Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence [CMI] said security confiscated electronic gadgets including the cell-phone of embattled suspect Yasaba’s wife [Christine Yashaba].

The security men reportedly blocked Yasaba’s kids from going to school and the suspect protested security men’s bad acts of harassing and pointing guns at his innocent children.

Undisclosed amount of foreign funds were found hidden in basement of Yasaba’s house in Mengo.

The suspect said the money belongs to his former boss Mr Sengooba who is in exile in Switzerland. He was a just a caretaker of the business hence he can’t be answerable to all.
