Police recovers singer Chris Evans car in Mutundwe

Evans's stolen car recovered

Police has recovered the vehicle belonging to singer Chris Evans which was stolen on Monday night.

During the Lungujja Lubaga division attack, unknown thugs beat the musician severely sending him to Mengo Hospital in a critical condition.

After the beating, the thugs took off in his car reg. no. UAZ 399J FIELDER.

“We have recovered the vehicle in Mutundwe and we wish Chris a speedy recovery as we continue to investigate the matter,” police said in a statement.

Luke Owoyesigyire, Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson, said the hunt of the suspects is on.

Evans is known for his love songs like Ndikusasulaki, Silitagala, Mulungi and Rihana.

He becomes the latest victim of attacks following the death of Mowzey Radio and producer Danz Kumapeesa.
