Ruhindi given Uganda Human Rights Commission job

President Museveni has appointed former Attorney General, Fred Ruhindi, as the new commissioner to the Uganda Human Rights Commission.

Ruhindi, a former Member of Parliament for Nakawa and State Minister for Justice and Constitutional Affairs, has been serving as a commissioner on the commission of inquiry into land matters led by Lady Justice Catherine Bamugemereire.

The president sent Ruhindi and Busingye Rusoke’s names to the Parliamentary Appointments Committee for vetting.

Dr.Violet Kajubiri was appointed the Deputy Chairperson of the Education Service Commission.

Johnson Malinga will serve as a member of the same commission.

Justice Ralpha Ochan will serve as the chairperson of the Public Service Commission with Hilda Musubira as the deputy chairperson.

Winnie Musoke Kaboggoza and Hajjati Jamilah Kamulegeya will serve as members on the commission.
