SoftPower founder, Sarah Kagingo, Ruparelia group and Triplets Ghetto Kids dominated the Pearl of Africa Tourism awards held at the pearl of Africa Hotel in Kampala on Thursday.
Kagingo, also the SoftPower News editor was voted the best tourism blogger in Ekkula Pearl of Africa tourism awards.
She received the award from Mr. Sam Mwandha, the Executive Director of Uganda Wildlife Authority.
Uganda’s best dance group “Ghetto Kids” were voted Best Tourism Ambassador.
The Ruparelia Group took home the “Top Tourism Investor” accolade.

Speke Resort Hotel Munyonyo also owned by Ruparelia Group was also awarded for “Best Service/Luxury Standard Hotel”.
“Victoria Café” also owned by owned by tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia took home the Best Cuisine Restaurant.
Hon. Kiwanda Suubi Godfrey, State Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities headlined at the event.
