President Museveni has fired the director for Citizenship and Immigration, Godfrey Sasaga and the Commissioner for Immigrations Commissioner, Anthony Namara, over an alleged visa scandal.
According to reports, senior detectives at the Criminal Investigations Directorate [CID] are already preparing to investigate the said officials.
Sasaga and Namara were interdicted in a President’s letter to the Internal Affairs minister on Wednesday.
