Hon Onesimus Twinamasiko has apologized to the house, the entire country and all women for the video that has been circulating on social media, where he said women need to be streamlined with beating.
He says he meant some other kind of beating.
Female Members of Parliament on Tuesday tasked the Bugangaizi legislator to apologise to Ugandans over his women battering remarks which insinuate that he was inciting gender-based violence.
Twinamatsiko is in the spotlight over statements of beating women which he said is a way of disciplining them.
MPs asked that all his statements be withdrawn during a Wednesday plenary sitting which he did.
