American tourist found dead in Nwoya Safari lodge

An American tourist, Gay Watson, is also reported to have died in Nwoya district.

Gay, 61, who is from Texas USA was discovered dead at Bwana Tembo Safari Lodge in Obira Parish Got Apwoyo sub county.

His body was taken to GRRHS mortuary but later transferred to the main division barracks mortuary.

Plans are underway to have it taken to Mulago hospital mortuary for a post-mortem.

Meanwhile, the bodies of two dead foreign nationals Tuomas Juha Petteri Terasvuori from Finland and Axel Sebastian Andreas from Sweden were taken back to their respective countries last week.

Police spokesperson, SSP Emilian Kayima, said toxic substances were found in their bodies following their deaths at Pearl of Africa and Sheraton hotels in Kampala.
