Goodlyfe singer Moses Ssekibogo aka Mowzey Radio is reported to have died this morning at Case Clinic where he has been undergoing treatment.
Events promoter also a manager, Balaam Barugahare, who has been active in lobbying funds for Radio’s treatment as well as managing his shows said the musician breathed his last at 6:00am this morning.
“Rest in peace Mozy Radio. Death has robbed us our little music star this morning at case clinic,” Barugahara said on social media.
This came a day after President Yoweri Museveni contributed Shs30m to cater for Radio’s hospital bill.
Radio has been admitted at Case hospital in Kampala after sustaining injuries on his head during a bar brawl in Entebbe.
On Tuesday, doctors said he got an infection in one of the wounds on his head leading to a swelling in his brain.
On Thursday morning, he was pronounced dead.
Five people were arrested to help police with their investigations into the beating of Radio at De Bar, a local hang-out spot in Entebbe town.
George Egesa, the proprietor of De Bar and his friend Xavier Rukere were arrested and detained at Entebbe main police station.
However, a one Troy Wamala, the key suspect in the case is said to be on the run.
