Jose Chameleone will now take up all music concerts and shows that feature hospitalised Goodlyfe artiste, Mowzey Radio.
Goodlyfe had already booked shows before Radio was beaten into a coma at De Bar in Entebbe town this week.
Radio’s singing partner, Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel TV, says Chameleone has already agreed to perform on behalf of Radio.
“Promoters who had booked us for different shows should forgive us since we didn’t see this accident coming but where need be, I will be on stage with Chameleone to replace Radio as he gets back on his feet,” Weasel said.
Radio has been involved in several fights over the years since Goodlyfe’s debut in mid-2000s.
They were banned from Angenoir (now called Club Guvnor) for six months for starting a fight.
In 2015, at Hi Table, Radio thumped singer Khalifa Aganaga for accusing GoodLyfe singers of stealing the instrumental to his Ndabilawa hit.
Bebe Cool too beat Radio and Weasel at Effendys bar in Centenary Park before he was shot in the legs by a security personnel.
In 2014, Radio and Weasel teamed up with Pallaso (a brother to Weasel) and beat up their manager Jeff Kiwa at Casablanca bar.
They went to Kiwa’s home in Makindye and beat up his security guard.
The ailing singer has a record for beating up a traffic officer in Nsambya while resisting arrest for drunk driving in 2017.
