Nathan Igeme Nabeta has lost his office as the Member of Parliament for Jinja Municipality East.
In their Friday ruling read by the deputy registrar Tadeo Asiimwe, three judges of the Court of Appeal Steven Kavuma, Richard Butera and Paul Mugamba ruled that Nabeta was not validly declared winner of the 2016 elections.
The court has declared the seat vacant and ordered for fresh elections.
Nabeta was first sued by Forum for Democratic Change [FDC] candidate Paul Mwiru at High Court in Jinja following his questionable 2016 victory.
High Court declared Mwiru the validly elected Member of Parliament after Nabeta was found guilty of interfering with election results.
Dissatisfied, Nabeta rushed to Court of Appeal which too faulted the Electoral Commission for failing in its duty after it was discovered that the tamper proof envelope was opened.
The judges questioned the integrity of Danida A-D community polling station, saying results from that station could not be relied upon.
Nabeta voted in favour of the presidential age limit bill although his constituents clearly told him to vote against it.
