Last night, at about 10pm, two vehicles overturned at Kavule, in Mpigi District burning a fuel tanker carrying flammable products.
A fuel tanker UAX 761 V heading to Masaka-Mbarara direction was trying to avoid head on collision with a fuso truck UAY 373 W carrying matooke, facing Kampala.
The charcoal and matooke truck was also damaged and its driver, one Mr. Muhammad Muga in his fifties was rushed to Mengo hospital in critical condition.
Police spokesperson, Emilian Kayima, said the driver of the fuel tanker and turn man are safe.

“Their identities will be soon given.”
The police Fire Brigade and Rescue Services fought and put out the fire after about two hours of fight fire.
The wreckage is yet to be removed.
