Two women have been killed in revenge by an angry mob armed with machetes and stones in Kalisizo cell, Karimbiro Parish, Bitereko Sub County in Mitooma district.

It is alleged that the incident happened following the death of a woman identified as Allen Pamera who was killed by her husband Marisiano Bwesigye, 24.

Pamera was killed on the way to visit her father-in-law, Timothy Makuru, 62, in Kabale Cell Kalisizo Parish where she has been staying after she was found sleeping with him.

The husband handed himself to Mitooma Police station.

This forced a section of her relatives from Kiyanga Sub County to storm the home of her husband setting fire on five houses, lynching two people as well as destroying plantations that belonged to the family.
