New Vision loses senior photojournalist Busomoke

Vision group Saturday lost a Veteran Photojournalist Peter Busomoke.

Busomoke, who worked with Daily Monitor and New Vision, died aged 67 at Kiruddu hospital from lung and liver complications.

He is famous for taking the picture of South Sudan founder, Dr John Garang’s plane that crashed in Imatong hills in northern Uganda.

In the photograph, Garang was seen ascending on the steps on the helicopter before the tragic accident.

He has covered conflicts in DR Congo especially the Kisangani clashes between Uganda and Rwanda.
