Radio and Weasel

Goodlyfe dynamic duo Radio and Weasel on Friday night filled Kyadondo Rugby grounds to the brim as they celebrated 10 years of music at a concert dubbed “The 10 years of Radio and Weasel (RAW)”.

The concert was not just successful because of the thousands that flocked the venue leaving others outside, but even the contributions of well-wishers too had a part to play.

On Thursday night, new city socialite and tycoon on the block Brian White alias Brian Kirumira 33, gave the duo a cash prize of Shs10m in appreciation for their 10-year journey in the music industry.

“This is to appreciate these guys who have been singing together for the last 10 years, yet they are not even brothers,” White told the singers.

White also gave musician Pallaso (Weasel’s brother) Shs3m.

On Friday, the duo hit Kyadondo grounds at an event sponsored by MTN, New Vision and Coca Cola, among others.

The stage was opened by upcoming talents like Ykee Benda, King Micheal, luga-flow rapper Feffe Bussi, gospel singer Exodus, Red Banton, Rabadaba, and Pallaso.

When they came on stage, Radio and Weasel dazzled their fans right from their shining costume to the memorable performance that saw revellers dance the night away.

They started with their hit song Nakudata which made them a household name. The song features Omulangira Suuna, another powerful singer.

The singers then went through all their albums giving partiers song after song as they slowly ate the night away and ushering their fans into a new day.
