Tourism board marketing manager Muzahura resigns

The Marketing Manager of the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) Edwin Muzahura Rumanyika has resigned from his position effective January 2018.

Muzahura in his resignation letter directed to UTB Chief Executive Officer said he was no longer able to serve under the prevailing circumstances both at management and strategic level.

“I will therefore proceed to take my annual and statutory leave in December and will cease to serve effective January 1, 2018,” Muzahura wrote.

He promised to submit a full report of the circumstances that have prevented him from continuing in service.

Muzahura in 2009 told New Vision his first job was working as a sales supervisor with the Nation Courier Group in 2003 earning Shs350,000 a month.

He worked as for Nation Courier Group as sales supervisor (2003-2004), East African Breweries, field marketer for eastern region (2004-2005), East African Breweries, accounts manager for western region (2005-2007) and Uganda Tourism Board, marketing and public relations manager (2007 to date).
