“We cannot allow business owners to be intimidated by thugs. We have decided to deploy officers uniformed and non-uniformed to ensure that no one interferes with businesses so we are carrying out security operations, arresting suspects on our criminal watch lists and searching areas that harbour wrong characters particularly those in black spots where criminals hide and harm residents,” C/ASP Nduhura said.
