
Police is hunting for two men who kidnapped a woman in Entebbe and tried to kidnap a second one in the same municipality.
Police spokesperson, Asan Kasingye, said they received information that at around 6:30am, two men dressed in black attempted to kidnap a lady at former Kobil fuel station at Abaita-babiri town in Katabi town council.
They were driving a numberless IPSUM vehicle with tinted glasses.
They tried to force a lady, 23 years, into the vehicle which already had another kidnapped lady whose face was tied with a piece of cloth and putting on a shot black skirt.
“These people are on the loose and are a danger to the lady in the vehicle and the public following the kidnaps and killings ongoing in Katabi and Nansana municipality,” Kasingye said.
Police has started a manhunt for the vehicle and its occupants.
At least 23 women have so far been killed in Wakiso district.
