Kampala city self-proclaimed Prophet Elvis Mbonye says he physically saw the son of God, Jesus Christ, and even walked to heaven directly on foot.
“I have seen Jesus and walked to Heaven; what most people don’t realize is, they too can,” Prophet Mbonye told NBS TV during “People & Power” programme recently.
Mbonye claimed he physically saw Jesus when he appeared in his room. “I saw him physically. I wake in the morning and he [Jesus] walks into my room.”
“He [Jesus] is a young man. He looked young. I thought in my mind he is an old man. He was a Jewish person. He came smiling to me. He told me ‘I will never leave you’.”
Mbonye said from his physical appearance, Jesus is the most beautiful person. He is the most perfect person.
“You can’t call him handsome or beautiful. He is both. When you see him, all your insecurities are gone.”
Asked what would happen if he died today, Mbonye said he would straight away march to heaven.

“If I die today, I would go to heaven.”
The longest time Prophet Mbonye has spent without walking in there (heaven) with him (Jesus) is like a just month.
“It is not limited to me as a prophet. You too can go to heaven.”
Last Friday, Joseph Kabuleta, a journalist and gospel minister, joined several worshipers in kissing Prophet Mbonye’s shoes at his grand gala dinner held on September 1, 2017 at Kololo Independence grounds.
They were made to part with Shs1m just to secure a “holy chair” on top of tickets that cost Shs1m platinum; Shs750,000 gold; Shs500,000 silver and Shs300,000 bronze.
Forget the posh Range Rover valued at Shs650m, BMWs or Range Rovers of 2016 model, and performing miracles, Prophet Mbonye has now elevated himself to status of God’s son-Jesus Christ.
He once disclosed on a live television show that he had a one-on-one chat with God.
Elvis A. Mbonye, in some circles, might be labeled a modern day mystic. However, what would perfectly define his calling is the biblical calling of the prophet.
The consistent record over the years of the startling prophetic revelations and predictions accompanied by their confirmation and fulfillment testifies to the heavenly office Elvis occupies and operates.
Some of these prophecies include but are not limited to, “predicting the exact date of the 2004 Tsunami (26th December) 3 months prior to the disaster, the North African government overthrows prior to any signs of upheaval, the 2010 Uganda terrorist bombings and numerous other prophecies, all in the presence of many attendants to weekly prophetic fellowships held under the banner of Zoe fellowship, a ministry Elvis founded and presides over.
It all started in 1998 after an awe-provoking encounter with the Person of the Holy Spirit in which Elvis’ “old” identity was virtually dissolved, supplanted with a new nature in Christ.
Subsequently, the world of unusual dreams, visions and prophetic revelations was open to him.
It would not take long before those around him and others along his path would recognize the prophetic abilities he possessed. His reputation as a prophet would thus spread.
Besides prophesying, Elvis Mbonye also unveils phenomenal insight into the universal principles of God, and thus life, through revelatory discourses that are Biblically sound.
The objective is to grant people an experiential realization of the eternal God beyond inherited or learned belief.
