Uganda has won the second Best Stand Award at the 2017 Bird Fair in Rutland, UK.
This came after the Pearl of Africa exhibited higher knowledge in birding with comprehensive packages in which visitors are assured of seeing more than 400 bird species, including the indomitable Shoe bill stork, on a single trip.
Uganda has been exhibiting this natural endowment of more than 1,070 birds pieces recorded as of June 2017 in the annual British Birdwatching Fair at Rutland Water Nature Reserve UK, according to a statement by Uganda Tourism Board.
One of the local birding guides Livingstone African Safaris Ltd excelled in bird watching knowledge.
The bird fair also known as ‘The Glastonbury of bird watching’ which ended Sunday has been running since August 18 at Rutland Water Nature Reserve Egleton.
