Uganda Christian University [UCU] student, Kirabo Nina Mary, becomes the second winner of a brand new Toyota Premio in the Airtel “Mega Masappe” promotion.
Kirabo is a second year student of Law but currently working as a cashier at a pharmacy on Kakiiza Rd, Boma, Fort Portal.
Her target was only USh 2,000.
Nanyonga Sharitah, a hair dresser from Mbirizi in Lwengo District, won USh 1,000,000 in the weekly draws.
Nelson Muhanguzi, a pharmacist at Oncopharm in Wandegeya but a resident of Bukoto Flats, won a brand-new motorbike.
Kizito Shafique from Mpigi a teacher at Lowell Girls’ School won a brand-new motorbike.
Leonida Kokutona a shop owner from Entebbe Katabi (in Busambaga Zone) has just won USh 1,000,000.
Nambu Hafiswa, a business lady from Nabweru, won a brand-new motorbike.
The promotion was launched at the start of July this year by the telecommunications giant, Airtel Uganda, to give subscribers a chance to win daily and weekly prizes in 90 days.
Dubbed ‘Mega Masappe’, the new campaign, has seen subscribers win daily and weekly prizes such as motor bikes, brand new cars and cash over the next 90 days.
This comes on the heels of the recently concluded Xtra Masappe data campaign which offered customers bonus for loading weekly and monthly bundles.
As part of ‘Mega Masappe’, subscribers are required to opt into the promo by dialling *162# and selecting option 1 to opt in, option 2 to check target and option 3 to redeem their data bonus – which will be broken down into Voice, SMS and Data at 50%, 10% and 40% respectively.
This bonus however does not apply to social packs, quarterly, annual and free bundles.
Daily and weekly prizes are given away every Friday for the duration of the promo.
