The ruling National Resistance Movement [NRM] Secretary General, Justine Kasule Lumumba, has been involved in a road accident along Entebbe road.
Lumumba knocked a female pedestrian at Kajjansi.
According to NRM Communications Officer, Rogers Mulindwa, the lady whose identity has not yet been established, has been reported dead.
She is said to had been talking on phone as she crossed the road.
Lumumba’s car was damaged in front but she was not hurt during the incident.
According to Mulindwa, it was the female pedestrian who “reluctantly rammed into Lumumba’s official car around Kajjansi along Entebbe road”.
“The NRM hereby sends its condolence message to the deceased’s family and promises to stand with them in this trying moment,” Mulindwa said in a statement.
