President Yoweri Museveni was Tuesday at the Parliamentary lobby to pay last respects to former tourism minister Maria Mutagamba.
“May her soul rest in peace,” he said while paying the former environment minister tribute as her body laid in state at Parliament.
Parliamentary Speaker, Rt. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga, 1st Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Leader of Government Business in Parliament, Gen. Moses Ali and the Government Chief Whip, Ruth Nankabirwa, received the President.
Museveni, who laid a wreath on the casket of the deceased also met her children Martin Mutagamba, Marian Mutagamba and Michael Mutagamba.
Also at the Parliamentary Building, Museveni met Muthiani, Paul Kyabaggu and the Deputy Head of Public Service Commission, Hilda Musubira.
The late Mutagamba will be buried on Wednesday in Rakai district.
