Mumbere slims cabinet, moves ministers

Rwenzururu King Charles Wesley Mumbere Irema – Ngoma has made a mini cabinet reshuffle to revitalise operations and open a new path for the kingdom.

In his weekend reshuffle, Mumbere appointed a Prime Ministerial Commission comprising of; Rt. Hon. Mbayahi Gad – Commission Chairman, Rt. Hon. Edwin Kugonza – Commission Vice Chairman, Rt. Hon. Baluku Stanley Kanzenze – Commission secretary and Rt. Hon. Misairi Mukwenda – Commission member.

Mumbere also transferred and appointed a team of 11 ministers and two deputy ministers reducing his former huge cabinet to a small one.

Hon. Alfred K Makasi is the Minister for Justice, Constitutional Affairs & Attorney General of OBR, Hon. Clarence Bwambale Mumbahya is the Minister of Information, Public Relations & Spokesperson and Hon. Milton Kalyata is the Minister of Finance, Planning & Economic Development.

Hon. Sarah Ithungu Baleke is the Deputy Minister of Finance, Planning & Economic Development, Hon. Yokasi Bihandi Bwambale is the Minister for Land and Production and Hon. Florence Kabugho is the Minister for Royal Protocol & Palace Affairs.

Hon. Amos Mugisa is the new Minister for Security and Royal Transport, Hon. Moses Kibalirwandi , the Minister for Education & Sports and Hon. Eri Nyakango, the Minister for Culture, Tourism & Native Administration.

Hon. Lucy Biira Kabanyoro is the Minister for Gender, Youth & Community Development, Hon. Naume Mbambu, the Deputy Minister of Gender, Youth & Community Development, Hon. Eng. Wilfred Matsande, the Minister of Works & Construction while Hon. Mathina Bwambale is the Minister of Regional Affairs & External Relations.

Hon. David Nguru Bradford is the Omusinga’s Personal Assistant while the House of Representatives is filled by; Rt. Hon Enock Muhindo – Speaker, Dr. John Baluku – Deputy Speaker and Mr. Joram Kisembo – Clerk.

As mandated by the OBR Cultural institution Constitution, Mumbere also appointed a Privy Council Team comprising of; Rt. Hon. Costa Bwambale, Dr. Walemba Nathaniel Mumbere, Dr. Maate Rogers, Dr. Arthur Syahuka, Rt. Hon. Loice Biira Bwambale, Rt. Hon. Yeremia Mutooro, Hon. Aprunali Kithende Kalibogha, Hon. Yohosephat Kuule School Band and Omulerembera.
