Four children are reported injured after an explosive object exploded in Mubende district.

The children who belong to Sgt. Charles Kakooza who is attached to Mubende Army Causality Rehabilitation Centre are currently admitted at Mubende Regional Referral Hospital.

He said the fire in the kitchen could have heated the object leading to an explosion.

In 2013, two children in the same district also died in a grenade explosion.
