In November 2016, NTV Uganda premiered the Ugandan version of the Mexican telenovela “Second Chance”, one of the most popular television soap operas in the world.
Former Uganda National Examinations Board chairman, Fagil Mandy plays Pedro whose soul transmigrated into the body of another man and returned to life only to discover dark secrets about his beautiful widow while former big brother socialite Stella Nantumbwe aka Ellah plays Isabel, the notorious but sexy young wife to Pedro.
In the original opera, Isabela is played by Mexican telenovela actress Lorena Rojas who died of cancer last year.
Celebrated city MC Roger Mugisha playing Cuban star actor Mario Antonio Cimarro Paz aka Salvador.
NTV boss Aggie Konde said at the Serena hotel premiere that the soap will be run across 152 countries on Telemundo.
